Support Our Mission

The Aquinas Center is recognized as a tax-exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service.  Although an affiliate of Emory University and a religious organization under the Archdiocese of Atlanta, we do not receive funding from either entity.  The Aquinas Center relies on the generosity of its donors and event attendees to support our mission.

The Aquinas Center seeks to fulfill our unique mission by bringing the Catholic scholarly presence to Emory University, the Archdiocese of Atlanta and the broader community. We are very conscious in this effort of our Dominican heritage, commitment to academic excellence, and to nurturing the living faith of the Catholic Church.

Donations to the Aquinas Center can be made by credit card, check, bequests or other securities. Please see below or contact our office for more information.

Aquinas Circle Donors

The Aquinas Circle is critical for our Major Catholic Speaker event to ensure we bring prominent Catholic speakers to Emory to address a topic of contemporary importance to the Church and the world.
Individuals who give $1,000 or more a year to the Aquinas Center automatically become a member of the Aquinas Circle Donors.
In recognition of their donation of $1,000 or more a year, each Circle Donor receives:

  • Invitation to a private reception and dinner with our Major Catholic Speaker
  • Reserved seating at our Major Catholic Speaker event
  • Invitations to Aquinas Center special events held throughout the year at Emory University

Aquinas Travel Scholarship

This scholarship is for Catholic, undergraduate students of Emory University who want to learn more about the Church's intellectual and spiritual contributions in a global context. Scholarships are given to up to two students a year to assist their traveling to a country to learn more about the global Church and its history.
