Remembering Dr. Gregory K. Hillis

In June of 2023, Greg assumed his new role on the Emory campus, but tragically departed this world on October 8th, 2024. Please click here to read the tribute written by our board chair, Dr. Marie Marquardt.

During this time period, the Aquinas Center continued to produce robust, mission-driven programming. Here is a sampling of the eminent, world-class speakers who accepted our invitations:

Shannen Williams
George Demacopoulos
Kim Harris
Christophe Cardinal Pierre
Tony Alonso
Ellen Koneck

Please visit the Aquinas Center website to view the entire library of past speaker events on our YouTube Channel.

Fostering intellectually vibrant Catholic communities
Founded in the Dominican tradition, the Aquinas Center was formed in 1987 to bring Catholic scholarly resources to Emory University, the Archdiocese of Atlanta and the broader community.
