AquinasEmoryThinks Blog
Aquinas Emory Thinks launched on January 28, 2019, the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas, the patron of our Center. The blog seeks to follow the example of Aquinas and thousands of other Catholic women and men of faith whose lives and work exemplify the dialogue between faith and reason in order to seek a deeper engagement with the Mystery of God. We feature theological discussions and personal essays on the Catholic intellectual tradition from a number of perspectives, from undergraduates to professors to community members.
Aquinas Emory Thinks aims to provide a space where the array of voices in our community at Emory, in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, and beyond might speak into all aspects of the Catholic intellectual tradition. We hope that the conversations that emerge across these varying perspectives will foster a sense of the vibrancy of Catholicism today: asking deep questions of our moment, unafraid to touch the wounds of our churches and societies, and seeking to act in union with the Spirit of God present throughout the whole world.
