John Monroe has over thirty years of experience in finance, treasury management and accounting. Currently, he is the Chief Financial Officer of TradeRocket, Inc., a start-up that provides invoice processing and payment services to companies. Prior to joining TradeRocket, John was Treasurer for Wells Real Estate Funds, Inc., Chief Financial Officer for two start-ups and worked in a variety of financial roles for several companies in Atlanta and New York.
John has served on the board for the Ignatius Retreat House in Atlanta. Currently, he serves on the board of the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia, the CFO Leadership Council and the Investment Committee of the Archdiocese of Atlanta and is a mentor at the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and Contemplative Leaders in Action. John is a certified spiritual director, a retreat director at the Ignatius House and a Eucharistic Minister at his parish, Christ the King. He holds a Master of Theological Studies from Spring Hill College, a Master of Business Administration from University of Virginia and Bachelor of Science from Washington and Lee University. John is married and has three children.
Why I chose to be a board member at The Aquinas Center of Theology: I am excited to be a part of the Aquinas Center because it is about faith seeking understanding. In an ever increasingly complex world, the Aquinas Center is a wonderful resource to help Catholics live a faithful life.
