Catherine Perry founded the InwardBound Center for Nonprofit Leadership in 2010, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The mission: to bring outstanding leadership development to nonprofits, especially those focused on eliminating poverty. The vision: that nonprofits rank on the Best Places to Work lists, known for outstanding leadership and ability to grow leaders from within. The Center offers customized coaching, training and culture change programs. Clients include CARE, The Community Foundation, the Latin American Association, Quality Care for Children, and The Task Force for Global Health. In 2002, she launched a private sector leadership coaching practice, InwardBound Coaching; served as President of the GA Coach Association in 2008, and in 2010 was awarded the annual association’s service award for commitment to the profession. Previously she spent 20 years in corporate marketing as VP Marketing of Bell Bicycle Helmets, and Director of Marketing at American Express. Board member, Catholic Foundation of North Georgia. Dominican Associate with Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters. Member, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Why I chose to be a board member at The Aquinas Center of Theology: As a lay associate with the Sinsinawa Dominicans, I support The Aquinas Center’s efforts to advance spiritual growth and service in the Dominican tradition. And I’ll be looking for ways The Aquinas Center can address poverty and injustice in Atlanta as we live out Catholic social justice teaching.
