Ryan Stevenson is a Latin teacher and data analyst at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. A New Hampshire native, he has lived in Atlanta since he began attending Emory University as an undergraduate. He earned his BA with highest honors for his thesis, a translation from the Latin of a medieval Dominican monk's memoir about the Ottomans. Ryan also earned a certificate in Catholic Studies and was awarded the Aquinas Travel Scholarship for study abroad in Italy. He was also a founding member and president of Emory's undergraduate Catholic Student Union. His work at Cristo Rey is now focused on spreading his love for the classics and mentoring students on a pathway to college.
