Mike Penney


Mike Penney has made a career in Information Technology, working over thirty-five years with several Atlanta based companies. He retired from UPS as Senior Manager, IT, in the Supply Chain Solutions group. Mike is actively involved in his parish, the Cathedral of Christ the King, in Atlanta. He is a past president of the Parish Council, spent 10+ years on the Finance Council, and is currently head of the Men’s Club. He has run the Christ the King annual charity golf tournament for the last twenty years, which has raised funds for organizations including Christo Rey Atlanta, St. Vincent de Paul, and the Atlanta Community Food Bank. He currently serves on the board of the Ignatius House Retreat Center. He has a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree from Spring Hill College, an MBA from Georgia State University, and was a double major (Math / Physics) at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
