Kevin Wack currently serves as a Medical Ethicist for the Grady Health System. He earned his undergraduate degree in theology and philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. He then attended Emory University where he received master’s degrees in both bioethics and theology. Currently, Mr. Wack is completing a juris doctor and certificate in health law from the Georgia State University College of Law. As a medical ethicist, he works to integrate a focus on ethical values into the healthcare setting. This includes facilitating individual ethics consultations as well as engaging in broader education and policy initiatives. Mr. Wack has delivered numerous lectures on bioethics and religion and co-authored an article which appeared in the American Journal of Bioethics. Prior to his position at Grady, he spent several years in research compliance with the Institutional Review Board at Emory University and also served as a teaching assistant for the Modern Catholicism course for Emory undergraduates.
